Roto’s electrical roller shutter warrants full shading. Even at the maximum 45° opening angle, the roller shutter can be left closed and the window is still fully operable. The double-walled aluminium louvres provide clear advantages for protection against the elements. The roller shutter unit‘s special space saving design enables the individual roller shutter louvres to be wrapped tightly around the roll. As a result the roller shutter unit can be accommodated in a very flat casing; perfectly and aesthetically integrated in the roof.

Roto Standard Roller Blinds
The practical ‘Standard’ roller blind is fixed on the roof window’s interior and provides protection against glaring light. Furthermore it protects against people looking in. A large selection of practical fabrics, patterns and colours add an element of decorative freedom in your living space. The pull bar can be arrested at three selectable positions. Unlike the ‘Exclusive’ roller blind, this one can be arrested via hooks at three positions. It is not equipped with lateral guide tracks and is supplied without a cassette.
Roto Screen Exterior Blind
Effective thermal insulation contributes considerably to living comfort during the summer months. The Roto ‘Screen’ exterior blind with its plastic-coated glass fibre fabric, ensures that approximately 70% of the heat radiation doesn’t reach the window pane in the first place. Even if the blind has been pulled down, the roof window’s functions remain fully functional without any restrictions. Combining exterior blinds with interior accessories is to be recommended. Heat protection together with a darkening blind represent for example an effective package.

The frame and guides are the same as the Roto exterior roller shutter, providing the external awning with the same flexible operation options. That is to say; optionally electrically via direct connection to the mains supply or via remote control with the particularly convenient Solar Radio Control alternative.
